for the Automotive Supply Chain
Understanding and managing the working conditions impacts of business has become a greater challenge with the increased globalization of automotive supply chains. The Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) Global Working Conditions Initiative brings together companies throughout the automotive industry to identify existing issues, explore root causes and create shared solutions.
Developing responsible working conditions begins with having a shared understanding of the key issues up and down the supply chain. The AIAG Global Working Conditions Initiative has created and is delivering a training and educational program for suppliers and OEMs at both the corporate and factory levels.
The goals of the AIAG trainings are to build partnerships between OEMs and the companies throughout their supply chains, jointly identify issues and challenges and develop systemic and sustainable solutions together.
Since initial discussions in 2005, the AIAG Working Conditions Initiative has pursued various activities and achieved significant milestones.
