    A unique not-for -profit organization where retailers, automakers, suppliers and service providers work collaboratively to drive cost and complexity from the supply chain via global standards development and harmonized business practices.

  • Business for Social Responsibility (BSR)
    A nonprofit business association providing socially responsible business solutions to many of the world's leading corporations.

  • Electronics Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC)
    EICC has a code of best practices adopted and implemented by some of the world's major electronics brands and their suppliers. The goal is to improve conditions in the electronics supply chain.

  • Socially Responsible Investing (SRI)
    An investment strategy that integrates social or environmental criteria into financial analysis. SRI has evolved beyond such simple avoidance screening to include the following four aspects: Social Research, Shareholder Advocacy, Social Venture Capital and Community Investing.

      Launched in 1999, the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes are the first global indexes tracking the financial performance of the leading sustainability-driven companies worldwide.

    • FTSE4Good Index Series
      Designed to measure the performance of companies that meet globally recognized corporate responsibility standards, and to facilitate investment in those companies.

  • SustainAbility - advises clients on the risks and opportunities associated with corporate responsibility and sustainable development, seeking solutions to social and environmental challenges that deliver long term value.

  • US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
    Leads the nation's environmental science, research, education and assessment efforts. Included in these efforts are the Environmental Stewardship and the Business Guide to U.S. EPA Climate Partnership Programs.
    • Green Suppliers Network
      Working in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Commerce, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) established the Green Suppliers Network to help small and medium,-sized manufacturers stay competitive and profitable while reducing their impact on the environment.

    • Suppliers Partnership for the Environment (SP)
      An innovative partnership between automobile original equipment manufacturers and their suppliers and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). SP addresses the goals of the membership by creating new and innovative business-centered approaches to environmental protection that improve the environment while providing value throughout the automobile supply chain.
