for the Automotive Supply Chain
Automotive Supply Chain Working Conditions
Site Level Training - Past Participants and DatesSupplier training sessions are customized and consist of a day long interactive workshop facilitated in the local language by qualified, local trainers and lawyers. The workshops involve multiple automotive suppliers to encourage peer-learning. Additionally, the training includes a required communication cascade to plant management and all workers. Direct sub-tier suppliers will also receive an information cascade following the training course. The ideal audience for this training is managers from human resources, health and safety, labor affairs and legal departments of participating companies and the training workshops emphasize the interpretation and application of legal standards, international best practice and stress the importance of sound management systems to govern factory working conditions.
The training is mandatory for all suppliers of sponsoring OEMs and the training requirement is not considered fulfilled until evidence of the training cascade has been submitted back to AIAG within 6 months of the actual course delivery. A supplier subject to the training requirement will receive an invitation directly from their customer notifying them of training dates and locations. Questions regarding past, present or future trainings and required attendance as per individual OEMs should be directed to the company representatives included in the Contact Us page.
